The TV evening is similar to Hajaja, a few years older in the radio edition, a bedtime story broadcast for children on the Czech Radio station in Prague. It has been very popular for five decades. Hajaja is associated with the names of a long line of actors, and among the characters he introduced to children, Spejbl and Hurvínek also have their place.
Miloš Kirschner, long-time director of the S + H Theater and performer of both wooden heroes and Helena Štáchová, today' s theater director, through whose mouth Mánička and Mrs. Kateřina speak, in 1984 they shot a number of scenes for the Hajaj radio station at the then Czechoslovak Radio, which were broadcast the same year and later often repeated. We offer some of them for this title, and you will surely agree that they have not aged even after almost thirty years!
