Charity Project - ALS is a rare incurable disease with a very rapid course of development. The lifetime from the point of diagnosis is 3-5 years. Patients gradually lose all body movement. It starts with restricted limb movement and then speech, swallowing and breathing are affected. The patient is fully aware of all these changes. The aim of the project is to provide physiotherapy and rehabilitation directly to 10 home patients for one year. This is a project for 50 000 CZK.

Last but not least, the patient has the opportunity to organize and plan a daily routine according to their current needs and requirements (at work, at school, in personal time and interests, etc. ) ).

Your personal assistance allowance will help patients and their families not to be alone due to illneswith. Alsa will seek, arrange and pay for personal assistance directly at the patients' place of residence.
About the ALS project
ALS - This serious diagnosis is not only faced by the patient, but basically by the whole family. Whether it is a young married couple, a family with small children or people of retirement age, for every family, in which one of the members is fully dependent on the assistance of others, it is very important to maintain at least part of its smooth running. For example, its members can stay in their jobs and, when they return home, spend time together with activities that unite and fulfill the family.
About a non-profit organization
ALSA is an organization of patients and professionals interested in ALS. This is a unique project, which we implement as the only organization in the Czech and Slovak Republicwith. Our mission is to help patients with counseling, consultations on suitable therapies, the creation of a specialized rental of aids, reconditioning stays, trips of specialists to patients' homes, etc. The biggest goal of the project is to create a specialized center for these patients, as is the case in other countriewith.
Project guarantor
Eva Baborová is the director of the organization, statutory representative and clinical speech therapist. ALSA z. with. represents in public, works within a mobile team, which provides counseling in patients' families, provides equipment rental, provides online counseling, provides training for professionals and the general public.
