Norah Jones (* March 30, 1979, Brooklyn, New York), real name Geetali Norah Jones Shankar is a popular singer and pianist. Her music is often referred to as a mixture of jazz, country and pop. He releases his albums at the purely jazz label Blue Note. After his first album: Come Away With Me, won eight Grammy Awards. She studied jazz piano at the University Of North Texas for two years.

She has also starred in several films. She is the daughter of the famous Indian sitarist Ravi Shankar.

“Come Away with Me“ - She released her debut album in February 2002 and immediately garnered rave reviews for this refined mix of fine pop, jazz and country. The first single from this album of the same name Come Away with Me reached the top of the American Billboard 200. The album won a Grammy statue for album of the year. By 2007, the album had sold over 20 million copies.
