Dual Ball Bearing (DBB)

Dual Ball Bearing, or DBB for short, is a type of bearing used in fans that are part of, for example, complete liquid cooling kits. Its design is based on two sets of ball bearings that support and stabilize the rotating part of the fan. This reduces friction and wear, contributing to a longer fan lifespan, even at higher operating temperatures. Fans with this type of bearing can be mounted in any orientation, i.e., vertically or horizontally, without negatively affecting their function or lifespan. Compared to sleeve bearings, fans with DBB bearings may be slightly noisier at low speeds due to the mechanical contact of the balls.
