A fixed brush is a type of attachment for a high-pressure cleaner whose bristles do not rotate during cleaning. The water from the cleaner flows through the body of the brush and out between the bristles, washing away loose dirt. The cleaning itself is carried out mechanically by moving the brush over the surface, similar to the use of a conventional hand brush. This attachment is suitable for cleaning more delicate surfaces where a direct stream of water under high pressure could cause damage. It is often used, for example, for washing car bodies, garden furniture, windows or garage doors, where the combination of water jet and mechanical friction allows even stuck-on dirt to be effectively removed.
