A drone's rigid construction describes the overall robustness and durability of its frame and individual parts. It is determined by the materials used, such as plastics, carbon fiber composite materials, or light metal alloys, as well as the quality of their processing and joining. A rigid frame better withstands impacts and falls, thereby reducing the risk of damage to key components. At the same time, it has a direct impact on flight characteristics. A stiffer construction minimizes the transmission of vibrations from the motors to the rest of the drone, which contributes to flight stability and smoother video recordings without undesirable trembling, known as the "jello effect." Due to the frame's reduced flexibility, the drone also reacts more precisely and quickly to commands from the controller.
