The parameter "Straight shape" determines the geometry of the lower edge of the Plexiglas, i.e. the part that ends the face protection. In the straight shape model, the bottom line is drawn in one horizontal line without any curvature. In practice, this means that the Plexiglas provides the maximum possible area of coverage, as it lacks cut-outs in the nose or cheekbones (known as the "aviator" or "wavelet"). This type of shape is mainly used to provide the highest level of protection for the eyes and upper face and is popular for its classic, traditional design. The result of using such a plexi is therefore robust protection and an unobstructed, direct view of the ice surface.
