VA display technology

VA (Vertical Alignment) display technology is a type of LCD panel that features excellent contrast, deep blacks and decent viewing angles. For graphics tablets, VA displays are mainly used where high image quality and good colour rendering are required, without the extreme demands on colour accuracy of IPS panels. VA displays have a higher contrast ratio than conventional TN panels and offer a better viewing experience in dark scenes, which is useful when working with graphics or video. The disadvantage over IPS technologies can be slower response times and less colour accuracy at extreme viewing angles. VA displays are suitable for graphic designers, illustrators and aspiring digital artists looking for a good compromise between price, image quality and functionality.
