VDSL modem

A VDSL modem is a device that enables internet connection over a fixed telephone line using VDSL technology. VDSL stands for „Very High Speed Digital Subscriber Line“, an improved version of the older ADSL connection that offers higher transmission speeds. The modem receives the signal from the telephone jack and converts it into a format that a computer or other network devices can understand. Many modern WiFi routers have a VDSL modem already integrated, so one device is sufficient to create a home network. To utilize this technology, it is necessary to have an internet connection from a provider that offers VDSL at your address. If your internet is delivered via fiber optic or coaxial cable, you will need a different type of terminal device.
