Welding angle

A welding angle is a magnetic positioning aid designed to temporarily fix and hold parts made of ferromagnetic materials at precisely defined angles without the need for clamps or a second person. Its body is shaped to offer several of the most commonly used angles, typically 45°, 90° and 135°, allowing for quick and accurate assembly of parts prior to welding, soldering or assembly. A strong permanent magnet is located inside to ensure a strong connection to the material. There are also versions with a mechanical switch, which allows the magnetic force to be activated only after the angle is precisely seated in the desired position. This facilitates not only handling, but also subsequent cleaning from metal filings and splinters that do not catch on the switched-off magnet. The basic parameter is the holding force, given in kilograms, which defines the maximum weight the angle can reliably hold.
