A desktop computer case is designed for horizontal placement on a desk. Unlike more common "Tower" cases, which stand vertically, this model is laid flat. Often, a monitor is placed directly on top of it, positioning the screen at a more ergonomically suitable height for the eyes. Due to its lower construction, it is suitable for spaces with limited height, such as shelves or furniture units designed for electronics. The internal arrangement of components is adapted specifically to this horizontal orientation. It is, therefore, a design type of case that determines its position and method of use at the workstation.
