ZINK (Zero Ink) printing technology is an innovative inkless printing method. Instead of traditional cartridges, it uses a special paper that contains layers of heat-activated crystals. When heated by the print head, these crystals become coloured and produce the final image. This technology is primarily designed for small portable printers, such as those used with mobile phones to print photos. The advantage is the compact design, no ink needed and simple operation, the disadvantage is the lower print quality compared to inkjet technologies.
