Alza Donates Money to Animal Shelters

At Alza Pet, we care about our furry friends, which is why we have decided to support animals that have been waiting in animal shelters for their new homes. Do you want to join us? It is very easy! All you need to do is purchase a product that the shelter needs and we will take care of the rest! Moreover, we are going to join you by donating 20,000 CZK. This time, your donations go to the shelter Bez maminky.

Bez maminky is a shelter for abandoned kittens living on the streets without a cat mum to take care of them. This beautiful project aims to not only save kittens in need, but also prevent situations in which kittens find themselves alone and abandoned. Great emphasis is placed on educating the public about neutering, which contributes to reducing the number of stray cats.

In the shelter Bez maminky, kittens receive the best care and thanks to the hard work of the staff, they are given a chance to survive and live a healthy and happy life. Caring for newborn kittens is a full-time job and requires complete devotion, a lot of patience and time. After the kittens are healthy, strong and old enough to have a new family, they are placed for adoption.

But that's not where it ends for the shelter, as they continue to monitor each cat on its way to its new home to make sure it is well and has all the comfort, care and food it needs. You will also find a counseling section on the shelter's website with many articles on how to take care of such kittens properly so that they grow and thrive.

Just choose and buy one of the items that the shelter needs, and we will take care of the rest. We will also support your gift with a contribution of 20,000 CZK. Animal care workers from the shelter chose the products themselves, so you can be sure that they get what they currently need the most.

How Can You Help?

Just choose and buy one of the items that the shelter needs, and we will take care of the rest. At the end of the appeal, we will deliver all the gifts and chip in with 20,000 CZK of our own money. You will not receive the gift you have purchased. It will go to the shelter directly from our warehouse. If the product is sold out, it means that the shelter has already had enough of these items donated.

Destiny Pet Shelter

On 21 January 2021, our Alza Pet team handed over gifts to the cats from the Destiny Pet animal shelter. In total, more than 320 products worth over 60,000 CZK travelled to the inhabitants of the shelter. Thanks to you, the cats will enjoy a lot of good food, new toys, litter and other gifts. In addition to all this, Alza. cz added a donation of 20,000 CZK for the expenses related to the operation of the pet shelter. We want to thank everyone who took part for their help. We really appreciate it!

Tibet Shelter

On 17 July 2020, our Alza Pet team presented food, litter, medications and other essential items totalling 61,887 Kč! Thanks to you, we brought several hundreds of cans, dozens of bags of dry food and many collars, toys and dietary supplements to the pet shelter.. To top it off, Alza.cz donated 20,000 Kč for the animal shelter's necessary expenses. Our thanks go to our customers for their help, as the animals in Tibet are now doing a little bit better.

Voříškov Shelter

On 21 January 2020, Alza Pet presented gifts totalling 52,183 CZK! Thanks to you, we brought more than 300kg of food, over 100 cans, plenty of collars, toys and training aids. On top of that, Alza.cz added a financial contribution of 20,000 CZK. Thanks to you guys, all the dogs in Voříškov are feeling that little bit better.

How do you choose which shelters to support?
We have chosen the Voříškov shelter based on loads of positive experience of our employees and the selection took place via poll. The Tibet shelter has been chosen by our customers via our company Facebook profile poll.
Do I have to purchase a gift for the shelter separately, or can it be part of my order?
A shelter gift can be part of your order, and it will not affect the shopping process in any way. However, it can also be purchased separately.
What option should I choose for shipping and payment when purchasing a shelter gift?
If you have more products in your cart, choose the shipping as you would for a standard order. In this case, you can pay by card online or when picking up the goods. We will deliver your gift to the shelter, along with gifts from other customers, when the appeal is over. If you only have a shelter gift in your order, choose online payment as your payment method and don't worry about the shipping.
Will I receive information when you give my gift to the shelter?
Of course. Once we've handed over the gifts, we will send a thank-you email to all customers who participated in the appeal.
