At the beginning of the year, I bought a Sony WH1000-XM4 for praise. The headphones are fine, but I expected them to interest me after I read / heard only positives about them. You can buy a new XM5 series, which I bought again after all those reviews. Although there is a difference, there is no croissant on my face. I returned them and bought an Airpody. Finally a good choice for me. Except it' s a nice piece of HW that made me happy. They are even better in terms of sound and I enjoy listening to them. The construction is heavier than at Sony, but in my case at Sony I was pushed by a bridge and at Airpod I don' t have this problem (over 3 hours at a time). I think a lot of people have a problem choosing between these models, so I would like to help a little in thinking, even though this is my opinion and I do not force it on anyone: D

I dare say that in terms of sound quality, these headphones are one of the best in their price category and in the category of headphones compatible with Apple. Unfortunately, the price is relatively high and (for me) does not fully outweigh the pros of the headphones.
I had the opportunity to try the Beats Studio3 Wireless, Beats Solo3, Beats Solo Pro and BOSE QC 45 headphones. None of them (from my point of view) reached the same quality as the AirPods Max.
In the end, I ended up with AirPods Pro 2021, where they have the best price / quality ratio for me. But one must not mind the seeds.
If I had to choose from Apple compatible headphones in the headset category, I would choose the Beats Solo Pro Wireless, which had the best sound of all listed (after AirPods Max and AirPods Pro).
Long battery life
Quality sound
Automatic connection between Apple devices
Applicable ANC and throughput mode
Unable to turn off the headphones
Overheating of the ears, with prolonged use of condensation in the headphones
The protective case does not adequately protect the headphones
Expensive audio cable to buy
Quite heavy on the head

Clear sound
Reliable pairing with apple devices - iphone, ipad, macbook (compared to airpods pro)
They're holding a veil over them
Beautiful build
They could be waterproof - that way you have to store them in the rain
The case is impractical and doesn't cover the entire headset. They'll scratch in it anyway.

excellent ability to dampen ambient sounds
