At first I was excited that I was moving with the times and sufficiently with the flow, then a period of disappointment, when it lay almost to the point of being thrown away provocatively next to the trash for several months, then of course reinstallation and moving on. It's a limited equipment. Don't be mean to him, don't curse him, because he has feelings and it hurts him. Sometimes you use it, it's not useless, you can use it, but I'm not sure that it would improve the quality of life, but it's not bad, that's why 3 stars, I suppose it will definitely improve with time. Look, if you want to fool around before your visit, that's fine, it's not. It's not expensive either. But, that you would use it every day and ask him about various things that you can find out faster on your PC/mobile/looking out the window, so it's not completely not, but it's not bad. It's a product that requires a certain technical skill (when you read the comments about how hard it is to connect) and at the same time creativity and a desire to explore, because it has quite a lot of features, the question is whether you have the patience for it, right. you can talk to him, he's a pretty long tentacle into the AI that sits in Google, I guess.

they don't speak Czech, which I personally don't mind, but I suppose for a lot of people it will be a big bad

And a personal opinion: Google Assistant is much smarter than Siri, Bixby or Alexa
Much better speakers than 1st generation
He can hear me from halfway across the apartment
Looks good on the wall
Power is not via USB-C or USB-Micro B (uses its own port)

Better sound compared to the first generation.
Occasionally, for some unfathomable reason, it will switch to the language it was purchased with, only a reset to the basic settings will help.
