Good luminosity, decent price, let's see how long it lasts, that's sometimes a problem.

Just the light I was looking for.
Compared to the incandescent and fluorescent bulbs, the light is still more directed, i.e. this bulb shines noticeably less sideways than straight on. So, when placed vertically in the chandelier, there is plenty of light under the chandelier, but the walls of the room are a bit dim. After a few days I don't really realize it anymore, but in a larger room the effect would probably be more pronounced.
