CCD Sensor
Camera sensors (Chips) record image information send it to the processor. Camera-sensor technology is divided into two types: CCD and CMOS.
CCD sensors are able to transmit data line by line, while CMOS sensors transmit from each point separately.
Characteristics of CCD sensors
- Higher energy consumption
- Lower-speed data processing
- Higher production costs
