The operator is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council (European Accessibility Act).
This accessibility statement applies to the website available at the domains https://www.alza.cz/ and the associated mobile applications for iOS and Android operating systems.
This website is partially compliant with Directive (EU) 2019/882 and the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), due to the non-compliance with certain requirements described below.
Despite our great efforts to ensure accessibility, there are currently areas and elements that do not fully comply with the accessibility standards, and we are continuously working on their correction and improvement.
On our website, we integrate external resources, multimedia elements, and components provided by third parties (mainly embedded videos, specific supporting images, map materials, or widgets). This content is generated and managed by external entities, and therefore we are not technically or operationally able to influence its structure, coding, or level of accessibility.
With certain dynamic elements, especially pop-up modal windows, a situation occurs where the keyboard focus does not automatically move inside the window and is not locked within it. A user navigating using a keyboard may therefore encounter difficulties.
Due to the immense scale of the e-shop, the dynamic generation of hundreds of thousands of product pages, and the integration of complex third-party systems, immediate and comprehensive correction of all the above-mentioned elements would represent a disproportionate financial and technological burden.
The removal of these barriers is carried out systematically as part of the ongoing development and updates of our design system and frontend architecture, with the highest priority being the optimization of the purchasing process and the features that customers use the most.
This statement was prepared based on a self-assessment and an internal accessibility audit.
Our goal is to make the website user-friendly for everyone. If you encounter any barriers in the accessibility of our content, please contact us via email at [email protected]. We will do everything in our power to accommodate your needs.
