Bicycle computer barometer

The cyclocomputer barometer is a sensor for measuring atmospheric pressure, which allows determining the altitude and changes in altitude profile during the ride. Unlike a GPS-based altimeter, the barometric method provides more accurate readings because it is not affected by signal loss or variations caused by atmospheric conditions. Some barometric cycling computers can also display weather changes, which is useful for long rides in the countryside. The accuracy of the barometer depends on regular calibration and can be affected by changes in pressure caused by weather.
