Classic varnishes

Classic nail varnishes are a traditional form of colour manicure, the main feature of which is spontaneous air drying. No special equipment such as a UV or LED lamp is needed to cure them. The drying process takes place by evaporation of the solvents contained in the polish, which can take several minutes to make the surface dry to the touch, and longer for complete drying. The application usually consists of several coats for best results and durability. It starts with a base coat, known as a "base coat", which protects and smooths the nail. This is followed by one or two coats of coloured polish and finally a top coat, or "top coat", is applied to add shine and extend the durability of the manicure. Removal is done simply with a regular nail polish remover that contains acetone or is acetone-free.
