Conference microphone

A conference microphone is a specialized device designed to pick up the voice of multiple people in a room at the same time. It is usually placed in the middle of a table to pick up sound from all the participants sitting around. A key feature of these microphones is their directional characteristic, which is most often "omnidirectional". This means that the microphone picks up sound evenly from all directions, within a 360-degree radius, so it doesn't matter which side of the table the speaker is speaking from. To ensure clear sound, these microphones are equipped with echo cancellation technologies to prevent the other party from hearing the echo of their own voice, as well as features to reduce ambient noise such as air conditioning hum or keyboard tapping. Many models also integrate a speakerphone, making them a complete communication unit, sometimes referred to as a "speakerphone". Such a device is then used not only to pick up the spoken word, but also to listen loudly to the other side of the conversation. They are most often connected to a computer or other device via a USB cable for a stable connection or wirelessly via Bluetooth technology for greater flexibility.
