Dual ISO

Dual ISO is an image sensor technology that uses two separate circuits for processing the signal from the chip. Each of these circuits is optimized for a different light sensitivity level, known as ISO. The first circuit, called “low native ISO,” operates at low sensitivity values and is designed to capture as much detail and color information as possible in well-lit scenes with minimal noise. The second circuit, “high native ISO,” is automatically activated when higher ISO values are set. This circuit is designed to more effectively suppress digital noise, which naturally arises when amplifying the signal in poor lighting conditions. The result is a cleaner image with less distracting noise when photographing or filming in dark environments, without significant loss of detail. The camera itself switches between these two circuits based on the selected ISO value.
