Extrusion gun dosing switch

The dispensing switch on the extruder gun is a feature that allows the user to set the amount of sealant, silicone or adhesive to be extruded from the gun per trigger pull. In practice, it functions as a mechanical limiter that regulates the maximum flow of material. This allows the work to be done with greater precision and control. For example, when cementing narrow joints where only a thin and even line is needed, the switch sets the dosage low. This prevents unintentionally squeezing out too much compound, which would cause mess and waste material. Conversely, for filling large gaps or when working with denser materials that require more force, a higher dosage can be set for faster application. This control is therefore used to adapt the gun's performance to the specific job, the type of material used and the size of the application tip, resulting in a cleaner and more accurate result.
