Fixed pins

The fixed pins are small protrusions that are part of the body of the platform pedals. Their main purpose is to increase the grip of the sole of the shoe to the pedal surface and prevent unintentional foot slippage, which is especially useful when riding off-road or in wet conditions. The designation "fixed" specifies that these pins are an integral part of the pedal design. Therefore, they cannot be unscrewed, adjusted in height or replaced if damaged or worn. They are either cast directly with the pedal body or pressed into it from the factory. The grip, i.e. the level of grip, is fixed in this type of pedal and cannot be adjusted by the user.
