Green light colour

This indicates whether the light projector is equipped with a green light source. Green is one of the three basic components used in projectors to mix colours in a system known as RGB, i.e. red, green and blue. By combining the intensity of these three colours, the device can create a wide range of other shades and colours, including white, which is created by combining all three components at full intensity. Thus, if the projector has green light, it is able to display a full colour image when combined with the other primary colours. Some simpler or specialised projectors, for example for creating effects, may be equipped with only a green light source, typically a laser, and are then used solely to project green rays or patterns.
