GreenyHT material is a type of filament, i.e. printing filament for 3D printers, which combines two key properties. The first part of the name, "Greeny", indicates its origin from renewable sources. Unlike plastics made from petroleum, this material is bio-based, meaning that its base is made from plant starches, for example. The second part, the abbreviation "HT", stands for "High Temperature" and refers to its main functional characteristic - increased heat resistance. Conventional filaments such as PLA soften and deform at temperatures as low as around 60°C, which makes them impossible to use, for example, in the interior of a car on a summer's day or for covering parts that get hot. GreenyHT prints retain their shape and strength even at significantly higher temperatures, often comparable to engineering plastics such as ABS. This makes it suitable for the manufacture of functional parts that will be exposed to heat, such as electronics enclosures, machine components or parts located close to engines. This makes GreenyHT an alternative for users who need a heat-resistant model but also prefer a renewable material that is often easier to print and with less odour than traditional high-temperature materials.
