The LONA navigation technology, whose name is an abbreviation of the English phrase "Localized Navigation", is a system that allows the robotic mower to create an accurate virtual map of the garden. Using a combination of GPS satellite system and other sensors, the mower tracks its location and records which parts of the plot it has already mowed. Thanks to this map, it does not move randomly across the lawn, but mows in systematic and organised paths. The user can access and work with this map via the mobile app. For example, so-called no-go zones can be created, allowing the mower to avoid areas such as flowerbeds or playgrounds without having to change the physical boundaries of the property. Similarly, it is possible to define different work areas and set a different cutting schedule or cutting height for each. The technology also makes it possible to monitor the current location of the mower on a map in real time.
