Lymphatic Drainage Devices with Electrostimulation

Lymphatic drainage devices with electrostimulation represent a type of equipment that combines two distinct body care methods. The first is mechanical lymphatic drainage, also known as pressotherapy. This operates on the principle of pressure massage performed using special sleeves with air chambers that gradually inflate and deflate. This method creates a pressure wave that supports the activity of the lymphatic system and helps drain excess fluid and waste products from the tissues. The second method is electrostimulation, often referred to by the acronym EMS from „Electrical Muscle Stimulation.“ The device sends weak electrical impulses to the muscles via electrodes, causing them to contract and relax, similar to active exercise. By combining both technologies, a more comprehensive effect is achieved, as muscle contractions induced by EMS actively help to „pump“ blood and lymph, thereby increasing the effectiveness of the pressure massage itself. This combination is used to enhance muscle regeneration, alleviate swelling, or in cosmetics for the firming of body areas.
