Magnetic lacquer effect (cat eye)

Magnetic nail polish effect, also known as "cat eye" or cat eye effect, is a special type of nail decoration. This effect is achieved by using a nail polish that contains very fine metal particles. After a layer of nail polish is applied to the nail, but before it has cured in a UV/LED lamp or dried, a special magnet is brought close to the nail. The magnetic field attracts and arranges the metal particles in a specific pattern. The result is an illusion of depth and a narrow, bright line that moves and changes its appearance depending on the angle of view and the light incident. Its appearance is reminiscent of the precious stone chrysoberyl, known as cat's eye, hence the name "cat eye". By using different magnets or by moving the magnet over the nail, different patterns can be created, such as a straight line, a wave or a cross effect.
