Non-drying modeling clay

Non-drying modeling clay is a specific type of modeling material whose main property is that it does not harden or crack in the air. Unlike water-based clays, its base is composed of oil or wax, which do not evaporate, allowing the material to retain its softness and pliability for a very long time. This makes it possible to use it repeatedly without it losing its properties. It is suitable for children's crafting, but also for specific techniques, such as creating models for "stop-motion" animation, where figures need to be constantly reshaped. Creations made from this clay are not permanent; they cannot be fired or left to harden into a solid object. It thus primarily serves for temporary modeling and play.
