A ratchet with ejector is a mechanical tool designed for tightening and loosening bolted joints using sockets, commonly called "nuts". Its main component is a mechanism that allows torque to be transmitted in one direction only, while in the opposite direction it is idle. This eliminates the need to remove the tool from the bolt or nut after each turn, which speeds up work, especially in tight spaces. The direction of engagement, i.e. tightening or loosening, is simply changed by a switch lever on the ratchet head. A specific feature of this type is the "ejector", which is a button located directly on the tool head. When pressed, it releases the locking ball which holds the socket firmly in place on the ratchet square. In this way, the nut can be removed and replaced very easily, quickly and with one hand, which is useful, for example, when working with oily hands where removing the nut might otherwise be difficult.
