UVA Protection

UVA protection means that the lenses of smart glasses contain a special filter that absorbs or reflects type A ultraviolet radiation. This radiation is a natural and, to the human eye, invisible part of sunlight. Long-term exposure of the eyes to UVA rays can contribute to their damage, such as accelerating the aging of the eye lens or promoting the development of cataracts. The filter in the glasses acts as a protective shield that prevents these rays from penetrating to the eye. In addition to their digital functions, smart glasses with this feature also provide basic eye protection from the sun, similar to regular sunglasses with a UV filter.
