Google Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

When you mention smart phone or smartphone, many of you will certainly think Google Android. Its original version has undergone many improvements and optimizations, becoming renowned for being a versatile, flexible, reliable and fast operating system, which today can be found in the majority of mobile devices. Version 4.2 Jelly Bean is a further improvement to its 4.1 predecessor, making it even more enjoyable.

Although it may seem that changes and differences between versions 4.1 and 4.2 are small, in fact the opposite is true. The system is now faster, safer, and more stable and gained many application enhancements.

Lovers of Street View (panoramic images of streets around the world) will be delighted with the Photo Sphere application on Jelly Bean. Shoot 360° panoramas exactly as you see it in Google Maps. Then share your results with all of your friends and acquaintances on Google+ or add it directly to Google maps.

Type at the speed of light

Writing on the Android keyboard couldn't be faster or more accurate. Swype is so advanced that it allows you to flow your finger over the letters without pause, and automatically identifies the word and offers alternatives. The keyboard also supports voice input.

User Accounts

Probably the most significant change to the operating system for tablets is the ability to create user accounts. Each user can set backgrounds and widgets on their desktop, along with applications and games. To switch between users, simply go to the lock screen without needing to turn off the tablet.

Phone on TV

Android has finally produced a competitive solution to AirPlay from Apple. Miracast allows smartphones and Tablets to wirelessly connect to compatible TVs, Blu-ray players or multimedia centers and mirror your screen.

Settings on hand

In addition to the classic Android notification bar, you can now quickly access system settings with a new roller system. If you already use a tablet, the notification combo box is at the top left of the screen, the new system however, is on the right. Smartphones will have a dedicated button to quickly switch between the info bars.

Photos with effects

Photos taken on your mobile phone or tablet can now be upgraded with various effects similar to Instagram. The new filters look truly stunning. Change color tones and add film effects or tints typical of the past century.

Smart companion

Many new features have been added to the Google Now application. Get a complete overview of the weather forecast several days in advance. The application also provides a picture of your surroundings so you can navigate home (if your phone has GPS) and even show you connections from where you are.

Widget info when locked

Most users of Google Android smart devices take advantage of a near infinite amount of widgets. In version 4.2, these gadgets can be placed on the lock screen, providing information without having to unlock the device.
