Definition of Terms
With the Instant Replacement service, Alza.cz a.s. guarantees its customers that in the event of a defect covered by the warranty on the purchased goods, the claim will be resolved by an immediate replacement.
Instant Replacement
- The Instant Replacement service
- involves purchasing a warranty for immediate resolution of a claim upon the manifestation of a warranty defect.

Seller
Alza.cz a.s., Company ID: 27082440, headquartered at Jankovcova 1522/53, 170 00 Prague 7, is a company registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 8573.
Buyer
A physical or legal entity that purchases products or uses services for personal use or for business purposes related to these products or services.
Purchase of Instant Replacement Service with Goods
Every buyer has the option to request the Instant Replacement service when purchasing goods.
Goods eligible for the Instant Replacement service are marked with the option at the time of purchase.
The buyer pays for the service along with the purchase of the goods covered by this warranty.
The Instant Replacement service is explicitly mentioned on the purchase receipt.
Prices for the Instant Replacement service are listed on www alza.cz.
By purchasing the service, the buyer agrees that in the event of a service request, the seller may resolve the claim by replacing it with goods of identical or better specifications from the same or another manufacturer, within a price range that can be adjusted by up to 5% of the original purchase price.
The buyer acknowledges and agrees that if they purchase goods with deferred payment and also purchase this service, in the event of early termination of the purchase contract before full payment, the seller is not obligated to refund the price of this service. This limitation does not affect the legal rights of the consumer.
If the Instant Replacement service is purchased together with goods bought through the One Third service, the service can only be used after the full purchase price of the goods is paid. If the purchase price is not fully paid, Alza will handle the claim in the standard manner according to the law or offer the buyer the option to pay the full purchase price on the spot and immediately apply the Instant Replacement service.
Post-Purchase Acquisition of Instant Replacement Service
The service can be purchased up to 14 days from the date of taxable supply indicated on the tax document at any of our stores.
Application of Instant Replacement
The seller defines a defect in the goods eligible for Instant Replacement as a defect in the product used in accordance with the user manual and in a manner corresponding to normal usage.
Instant Replacement does not cover wear and tear from normal usage, as this cannot be claimed.
The service cannot be applied to goods with broken protective seals, information labels, serial numbers, etc.
Instant Replacement does not cover damages caused by:
Mechanical damage to the goods,
Electrical surges (visible burnt components or circuits),
Usage in conditions that do not comply with the specified environment in terms of temperature, dust, humidity, chemical, and mechanical influences as determined by the seller or manufacturer,
Improper installation, handling, operation, or neglect of the goods,
Damage caused by computer viruses,
Software issues where the customer cannot prove legal acquisition or usage of unauthorised software and consumables,
Damage caused by excessive use or misuse that violates the terms and conditions outlined in the documentation or general guidelines,
Unauthorised modifications or changes in parameters,
Customisation by the customer (paint, bending, etc.) that resulted in the defect,
Incorrectly performed BIOS or firmware upgrades,
Natural disasters or force majeure,
Using incorrect or defective software,
Using incorrect or non-original consumables or any damages caused by such use if it is not usual and not indicated in the user manual.
Instant Replacement does not cover accessories, parts, and supplements such as batteries, cables, headphones, light bulbs, or adapters.
To apply for the Instant Replacement service, the buyer must provide a copy of the purchase receipt containing the Instant Replacement service along with the claimed goods.
The Instant Replacement service can only be availed of through the following options:
In-person at any Alza.cz a.s. store
By sending the defective product to Alza.cz - reklamace, Prologis Park - Gate 70, Severní 255, 252 19 Chrášťany
Service Application Method
The seller explicitly informs the buyer that to fulfil the service, they may offer a replacement solution based on stock availability with a product of identical or better specifications from the same or another manufacturer within a price range that can be adjusted by up to 5% of the original purchase price. Offering and selecting other goods is at the seller's discretion. The buyer agrees to this process by purchasing the service.
The seller guarantees the buyer who purchased the Instant Replacement service:
Immediate replacement of goods in the event of a reported or other warranty defect,
Issuance and payment of a credit note for the service if adequate goods are not in stock within 48 hours of the claim,
Delivery of goods as soon as possible according to the claim application method and location:
Immediate collection upon personal claim application at Alza.cz, Jateční 33a, Prague 7 – Holešovice
Delivery the next business day for personal claim applications at any Alza.cz store
Delivery within three business days for parcels sent to Alza.cz - reklamace, Prologis Park - Gate 70, Severní 255, 252 19 Chrášťany
In exceptional cases, especially if the condition of the goods cannot be immediately assessed by the seller and needs to be sent to service, the seller is entitled to extend the above-mentioned periods by up to three business days. In such cases, the issuance and payment of a credit note for the service will also be extended by three business days if adequate goods are not in stock within 48 hours of the claim.
The number of claims for defect removal during the Instant Replacement period is limited to one time during the warranty period of the goods.
The issuance of a credit note for goods with Instant Replacement terminates the service.
In the case of claims submitted via AlzaBox or courier services, the moment of service application is considered to be when the goods are delivered to LCZ Alza.cz - reklamace, Zdibsko 615, Klecany - Zdibsko, 25067, not when the goods are handed over to the carrier by the buyer.
In the case of claims submitted via AlzaBox or courier services, the moment of service application is considered to be when the goods are delivered to Alza.cz – Reklamace, GLP park Gate 70, Severní 255, Chrášťany, 252 19, not when the goods are handed over to the carrier by the buyer or placed in the AlzaBox by the buyer.
Transfer of Service
The validity of the Instant Replacement service can be transferred to a third party for the remaining duration of its original validity after written notification of this change to the seller.
The Instant Replacement service can be transferred to another product within the same product category if the seller has replaced the original product, for which the Instant Exchange service was purchased, with a new one during the legal warranty period under the Civil Code. This change must also be notified to the seller in writing.
Termination of Service
The Instant Replacement service can be terminated by the buyer if the seller significantly breaches the service terms.
In the event of termination, the seller will refund 100% of the amount paid by the customer for the service upon agreement of the service terms. The Instant Replacement service ends at the end of the statutory warranty period of the goods.
The issuance of a credit note for goods with Instant Replacement terminates this service on the date the credit note is issued.
If the seller issues a credit note for the goods within the statutory warranty period, the seller commits to refund the amount paid for the unused Instant Replacement service.
If the seller cannot provide the service (i.e., a parameter or price equivalent replacement is not in stock at Alza.cz), the seller commits to issuing a credit note for the service in its full original amount.
