The Residents: Commercial Album
Music CD The Residents are an American avant-garde band from San Francisco, formed in 1969. They played their first concert in 1971 and founded their own record label, Ralph Records, in 1972. The band is renowned for their quirky songs and bizarre interpretations of cover versions, as well as the decades-long anonymity of their members. "Commercial Album" was released in 1980, and this double-CD edition contains the original album plus 23 previously unreleased tracks, single B-sides, rehearsals, compilation tracks, and live recordings! Remastered from the original tapes, it features an excellent booklet packed with rare and previously unseen photographs.
