Axel Rudi Pell: Sign Of The Times Ltd Dlx Clr
LP Record The numbers speak for themselves: over 1.7 million albums sold worldwide and 2.6 million streams for its Top 10 predecessor, "Knights Call" (2018), alone. Axel Rudi Pell is now releasing his eighteenth (!) studio album, "Sign Of The Times". But what truly matters isn't the quantity, but the quality. His consistency is increasingly appreciated by the global hard & heavy community. While not always, the term "cult" is used more and more often in connection with Axel Rudi Pell. He doesn't make much of the term himself, "but if you've been successful for this long, maybe you deserve something like that." This doesn't just sound down-to-earth; it's meant to be. "When we played in Moscow last year, a lot of fans called me a legend."
Axel Rudi Pell: XXX Anniversary Live
LP Record Does anyone still remember 1989? When Axel Rudi Pell launched his solo career on 1 December with the release of his first album, "Wild Obsession", the Berlin Wall had just fallen. That was a small eternity ago. The world has changed, but Axel Rudi Pell has not. For three decades, the guitarist from Bochum and his band have been releasing one quality hard rock album after another, like clockwork. Even the anniversary album, a live recording from the last tour, is being released by the same record label as in 1989; the contract with SPV has lasted longer than most marriages. "We grew up together with SPV, we've been through and mastered the ups and downs," summarises the now 58-year-old. "Never change a winning team" is the secret to his success.
Freedom Call: M.E.T.A.L. Clr
LP Record Freedom Call have a double celebration on their hands: this summer, the band, fronted by singer and guitarist Chris Bay, will not only mark their 20th anniversary but also the release of their tenth studio album, aptly named M.E.T.A.L. Ever since their 1999 debut, Stairway To Fairyland, this southern German band has been a symbol of anthemic melodic metal, known for its catchy tunes, fast grooves, and atmospheric messages with optimistic lyrics. All this and much more can be found on M.E.T.A.L., an utterly compelling work with an unusual title that, according to Bay, "should certainly be taken with a pinch of salt. Everyone knows we don't necessarily play ultra-grim death metal."
Running Wild: Rapid Foray Clr Ltd
LP Record Rapid Foray is the fourteenth album by the German heavy metal band Running Wild. It was released on 26 August 2016 by Steamhammer/SPV. The album was produced by Rolf Kasparek and guitarist Peter J. Jordan.

The Dead Daisies: Holy Ground CLR
LP Record Holy Ground is the name of The Dead Daisies' sixth album in just eight years of the band's existence. It's also the first record with singer and bassist Glenn Hughes (Black Country Communion, ex-Deep Purple), who joined the band after the departure of singer John Corabi and bassist Marco Mendoza last year. With the songs "Unspoken" and "Bustle and Flow", The Dead Daisies have already given a few tasters of their new album. And it shows: the line-up change brings a breath of fresh air, but the band remains true to itself on "Holy Ground": hard rock and heavy metal with an 80s vibe – the perfect combination.
