It is a non-intuitive device with complicated controls, see cons above. What bothers me the most is that it can't connect a USB drive or a flash drive, it reports that the device is found, then a faulty format and then a safe disconnect. Tested on a 4TB and a 1TB drive and then on a 32GB and a 4GB flash drive, all formatted to the normal NTFS system. My entire movie library on an external disc is therefore unplayable, and the only advantage of this device - the ability to install the VLC multi-format player - for which I would be willing to overlook the disadvantages, is disappearing. TV is useless to me, I'll be back.
