The dryer is meeting our expectations so far. It's our second dryer after having a Lord one, and the difference is really big, especially when it comes to the noise level. The controls are very well designed.
Quiet operation compared to our older Lord dryer.
Very nice design and intuitive controls.
Considering it's a Series 8, the price is fair.
home connect
The connection to the drain is definitely an advantage, although in our case, we can't use it.
the instructions on how the programmes differ aren't entirely clear
the basic programmes take a really long time, but that's standard these days

I was expecting the “Ferrari” of tumble dryers, but unfortunately, the opposite was true. I spent about half an hour trying to pair it with the app. The indicators are very unintuitive, and the app offers absolutely no support for common problems when using it with an iPhone. To top it all off, it wouldn't even run the third drying cycle - a mysterious error (with X possible causes according to the description). Cleaning, resets, nothing helped, and now I'm back to deciding which tumble dryer to choose.
Quiet
Dried the laundry nicely (when it worked)
Pairing with the app was poorly implemented – I was only able to set it up after following instructions from Gemini.
The SW update went through, but the status indication is very poor.
Got an error on the third use – I tried restarting and cleaning it, but nothing helped. It just clicks when I start it and then stops.

We chose this model for its low consumption and lowest noise level. We were deciding between top of the range Bosch, Siemens and Samsung models. The price/usefulness ratio was also decisive, and Bosch was the best for us. We are very happy with the selection after a week of use. Within a few days of purchase we tried about 10 cycles with different types of clothes. Apart from the first drying, I have always been happy with the result. It's more about setting the program parameters well. The dryer has a very elegant design with a nice touch screen. Fortunately, we can cope with English, because only a total ignoramus could think that the customer would stick a sticker with Czech on the panel. That would kill it all. I can recommend it for us.
quiet
exceptionally low consumption
SMART features + localised app
Quality workmanship
elegant display with touch control
lots of programs to choose from and some extra in the app
complications when first setting up and connecting to wifi
only the white version is offered

Zatím vše v pořádku. Jen by bylo vhodné lépe odkazovat na kompatibilní mezikusy.

We've been happy with the dryer from the start - it's quiet, operates smoothly and dries clothes perfectly. We certainly don't regret it.
The operation is surprisingly quiet, it can be run quietly in the evening.
You can handle the controls without any instructions, everything is clear at a glance.
The laundry comes out dry and ready to be folded in the closet, we are happy with the results.
After a few weeks of use without complaint - recommended.

The dryer is really quiet, which I really appreciate.
The manual is impractical and without Bosch support I couldn't get a good understanding of the programs. The description of the Hygiene Plus program is vague, so it's not clear exactly what it does differently from the regular Cotton program and why I should use it.
There is no information about the length of the programmes, so we were unpleasantly surprised by drying lasting more than 4 hours.
The Iron Assist programme requires dry laundry to be input, whereas our previous dryer did not

It dries well, is quiet, has a better type of cleaning of the condensing element than the AEG, where after 8 years I had to come for service to repair.
Quieter than before from AEG
The spacer is worse designed than in AEG
