Filling the water container is easy, including docking and turning on (low power vs high vs light). The moisturizing steam leaves no residue and wet the surroundings as I have read in other reviews. As for the effects of humidification, I can't 100% say that I perceive any significant improvement in the air (room about 17m square), but some effect of the humidifier probably leaves, at least I am not so much bothered by the very dry air from the heater. The reservoir itself will last for a one-day longer to two-day shorter flow, and will light up red and turn off in the absence of water. The only negative is probably the design, when you just "sit" the container on the base plate, so if you instinctively want to grab the device from above, you just take the container and drip the surroundings, as water always appears somewhere - you need to take the whole device from below. At the same time, a light amount of water remains in the lower platform.
