Look out! The passive speaker has to be plugged in with the correct polarity, otherwise it will play, but the bass will give you a headache because the sound waves will be in the middle in the opposite phase (this creates pressure on the eardrum). The point is that each wire is very weakly and almost invisibly differentiated by colour and you have to plug the same colour into the left one as in the active speaker (amplifier) as into the left one on the passive one. If you switch it up, it plays, but the experience is like 80% worse. I kept wondering what was wrong, then one day I switched and felt like I got a whole new model of speakers! Sure, a seasoned audiophile will just laugh at this warning, but it's clear to me that 70-80% of customers have absolutely no idea that speakers need to be in phase and that it's the left and right wires of the passive that matter.
Amazing sound for the money, but it has to be wired properly or it gives you a headache.
Look out! You have to connect the passive speaker with the correct phase (depending on where you put the left or right wire), otherwise the bass will give you a headache. Poorly differentiated + - for the two-line connection of the passive speaker.
