if you're looking for subtle yet distinctive lighting, this is the one. I returned the previous colored lights, it was insane. This is pretty warm and the annealing effect, or whatever you want to call it, is totally cool. It's non-violent, it doesn't hurt the eyes. When the whole bundle is plugged in while it's still wrapped, the light effect is strong, but after unwinding it's ideal.
