Airprint is a pseudo airprint, without HP+ printer registration you can't print anything directly or once yes and 100 times no, I haven't found out what is the key to when it works
When the printer is not on the internet, it just doesn't work. I needed it in a warehouse where there is no internet, it is airprinted with delivery notes. Unfortunately, without the internet, you're screwed.
Registering a printer with HP Smart is a labor, the wheel spins and spins and you just don't print if you don't register

the worst laserjet what ever did if you do not set through the phone and wifi sit 2,4ghz and straight plug into usb and print something you can straight return
DO NOT BUY IT CANNOT be set up without wifi on band 2.4 and even if you do the original firmware has a serious setup error once you send it to print something that doesn't fit it stops printing completely even after a factory reset and expert 3 hour troubleshooting even on the new firmware it just won't work you should pull it from sale completely and refund your money

This printer got such a bad review that I took it as a challenge. And I don't understand. After unpacking it, I peeled off the protective tape, plugged one cable into the socket and that was it. I installed the app on my phone and within 10 minutes of opening the box I was printing. I understand that people aren't always tech savvy though. this is preschooler-level technique. The menu guides you through the initial setup, there's nothing to go wrong. Yes, if you don't want any additional software a priori, you won't get anywhere here. It's just tied up. Also, it's designed as an online printer - so if this is your use case (i.e. just having it anywhere in your apartment where it's convenient - and not being constrained by a USB cable), you have nothing to worry about. I'm really enjoying the retrospective over the other reviews: )

I bought this printer because of the size and because I only need black and white for printing invoices. I was looking for a cheap small laser printer with wifi and this one caught my eye. So I was scared of the bad reviews that I read after I bought it and so I write here from me works well. installation took a bit longer due to registration etc. but the app turned me on and it was, I have to say, cool.

I disagree with the manufacturer's approach. In order to print a page from your computer via USB cable (on the most ordinary printer that exists) you need a smart phone with an app installed, a working wifi for the printer and computer and registration in HP software.
