Together with the Immax Moisture Sensor, it simply enables fully automatic irrigation depending on soil moisture. I have a submersible pump in a tank with rainwater and soakaway hoses and I have set up the system very simply so that if the humidity (at about 10 cm) drops below a certain level (i.e. when it is not raining) the irrigation starts on certain days and switches off when the humidity reaches the set level. This works separately for each valve (circuit) - different vegetables need different watering. And you can add more valves (sold separately) if I need more circuits. I save a lot of water, I don't have to worry about anything, and the veggies don't overcook or wilt. That's great. I also keep track of how much water I've ever watered. It can also be used for drip or other irrigation and is at least half the price of irrigation computers.
