Battery life
Compared to the 15 Pro, it no longer overheats thanks to its aluminium construction
Better telephoto lens
Unibody construction
No eSIM variant in the Czech Republic
Aluminium is softer than titanium, easier to damage, but has its advantages

I switched from the 15 PRO and it's a difference, especially in battery and cameras, 256gb base is great, finally a design change again. I wanted to take the blue version, but after watching a bunch of videos how the aluminum is prone to scratches, I prefer to reach for the silver color, there scratches hopefully will not be visible. The photo button is unnecessarily unintuitive for me, better to control the camera on the display.

Lighter than previous models - thanks to aluminium
Fine new front camera sensor
The aluminum part of the camera module is really just painted, so I'm worried that the camera won't get scratched - but that's covered by the phone cover
5G connectivity is down with the new iOS update, but it's nothing serious
Apple might finally realize that the new camera button isn't that interested, but the button can be switched to trigger the camera after two presses instead of one, eliminating unintentional camera opening

The iPhone 17 pro is a solid machine (better optics and software), but it lacks the elegance and durability of the iPhone 15 Pro. I had that one for over two years and the body was absolutely awesome. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the 17. After about 20 days, my rear window cracked. There is no impact on the glass, yet I have a crack across the entire back glass. I used the phone the same way as my previous iPhone.
