Bought at a discount of about 15% and for that amount it suits me. For gamers I would recommend something with better graphics, for travelers/students on the go something with less power (like the ryzen ai 350 variant) but for someone with a need to have a powerful mobile machine this is a solid choice especially because of the USB-C charging. Just watch out! theoretically supports 140W via usb-c but only via Lenovo's proprietary protocol and not USB PD3.0 (the system apparently runs at a maximum of 20V and Lenovo thus abuses the C connector to 7A@20V)
Cooling (compared to the old Lenovo legion y530 significantly better and even with almost 2x power consumption)
Quiet (there is a setting that controls the cooling power according to the volume of the media being played and it's a total blast)
Performance (for the same price you can get a noticeably more powerful one - GPU bottleneck)
Display (I applied an oleophobic coating from aliexpress and it is less dirty + easier to clean)
A possible advantage of the plastic chassis is lower heat conduction to the hands
USB PD2.0 (charging even from a powerbank via usb-c up to 100W in complete peace of mind). can be plugged into the dock
Touchpad (nothing extra. the same as on the LOQ series - I recommend to test in the shop)
Keyboard backlighting (I finally set it to static. backlighting adjustable only in columns - not each key separately)
Plastic chassis, plastic display, touchpad. the only aluminum is on the display assembly from the top (where the Lenovo logo is).
USB-C probably without PD3.0 (maybe up to 140W charging but only with a power supply supporting their Lenovo protocol)
