this is the first ZigBee product that doesn't work with anything other than their pre-flood gateway. unusable for example with home assistant

The accuracy of the thermometer compares favourably with a good quality home thermometer and five other zigbee sensors. The magnetic attachment is also nice. However, the positives end there. Useless for normal smart home use. Will I be purchasing a special gateway and app from this noname local distributor of Chinese products, for one product, as the product range is quite limited?! Well, definitely not. Especially when the global players have completely different support with mutual compatibility and product portfolio too ( bulbs of all kinds, including those with variable light colour or design, led strips, sockets, smart boxes under switches, air purifiers, blinds, thermostatic heads. )

I purchased a full set of Orbis sensors for a trial run. They work perfectly when connected to the control unit and the app. They are sensitive and report changes immediately by notification.
