Anyone buying an e-ink tablet needs to know what they're getting into and can be assumed to have familiarised themselves with everything they need beforehand. There are a lot of reviews, tutorials on the Internet, especially on YouTube (I recommend the MyDeepGuide channel). The Note Air 3C is a high-end device for work and play, it's the top of the market right now. But of course it has its pros and cons, it's not a device for everyone. Like any other.
fantastic tool for notes
excellent writing feeling
colour display
Android - it lets you get virtually anything on your tablet
Unlimited work possibilities
Perfect also as an e-book
There are speakers, you can listen to audiobooks, play Spotify, YouTube, etc.
Text dictation also works perfectly
In combination with the original case very practical
You can add a Bluetooth keyboard, or even a mouse, and then you practically have an alternative to a laptop
weaker battery if you have wifi and bluetooth on and are using the tablet fully, but that's pretty much understandable

I will certainly not buy anything from this manufacturer, I was looking forward to the tablet, but the quality of the display processing has discouraged me very much.
fast for being e-ink
very good writing
giant glowing dots/"dead pixels" (according to the online forum very common with this model - it's very annoying, see photo)
expensive, especially when the display is full of white glowing dots

I hesitated to buy it for a long time because it is often in stores among returned goods. I'd say it's because of the dark display, which basically requires the backlight on nonstop (but doesn't dazzle like a cell phone), otherwise reading isn't comfortable or you can't read anything on it in the dim, which may not suit some people. Otherwise, the reader is absolutely great and I don't regret the money. The pluses and things it can do are too many. I recommend it especially to students. Finally, readers have reached a technological level where they are worth buying, even though they are significantly more expensive than a regular tablet. The response time when writing notes is so small that it feels like you're writing on paper - only the first touch of the pen has a higher delay.
quality product; it shows that the manufacturer cares about a good product, so the higher price compared to the competition is acceptable
8-core 2.8 GHz Snapdragon 665 processor, the manufacturer still lists 2.4 GHz on its website, probably upgraded it in the meantime (nice bonus) -> fast response to the pen and fast display redrawing
full-fledged Google Play, you can install any Android application you use on your mobile phone, which extends the use of the reader
300 ppi resolution (note that the manufacturer now also sells a B/W variant of the display, but it has only 227 ppi and it is said to be noticeable)
has also the Czech reading of tts, the sentence just read is highlighted in the book
has AI recognition of handwritten notes, even Czech notes (works great even on my fully handwritten handwriting - scrawling)
possibility of replacing manually drawn diagrams (circles, rectangles, triangles, arrows,. ) by perfect
the basic pen included in the set responds not only to the pressure but also to the inclination of the pen, it is passive, it does not need to be charged
fast pen response and redrawing of the display, which according to tests is comparable to the fastest competitive Remarkable 2, which does not have a backlight (but has a bright display) and no android
color display, but it's not perfect yet, colors are faint compared to LCD and inferior display, however it's fine
a layer simulating the scratching sound of a pencil on paper, a detail I loved
possibility to add your own offline dictionary and view the translation of a word by tapping on the word or add unknown words to the list with their translation
weaker battery, "only" 3700mAh (when browsing the web or watching youtube it drastically reduces the battery percentage compared to the mobile), reading and writing notes alone even with the backlight does not consume much and you do not have to worry about daily recharging as with a mobile
darker display, it must be counted on to be nonstop backlit, it's a tax on color and probably more layers of display
the wifi is slower compared to mobile, but it doesn't matter

It fulfills all the declared features, just lacks detailed instructions in CZ, I am lazy to read EN.
It meets everything I expected! I always do detailed research!

The product is overpriced. It has specific target. I found the UI confusing. The note taking system is not good and very slow. I dont reccomend this product.
Price
Confusing UI.
Its not good for note taking. You cannot drag and drop notes in efficient way.

I really love this device until the point of remembering how bad the battery is. You could go with the B&W base model and get maybe 4-5 times the battery but you lose the color, refresh rate and some of the stylus tweaks. Hopefully the next iteration will be better
(Sometimes) great colors
Great writing/drawing experience, tilt + pressure
Being able to install any android apps is great, even though ONYX's android "skin" is pretty limited
BooxDrop is super convenient, can transfer files from my browser without an account 🤯
Reading articles and watching videos are actually okay on this device, amazing
Fairly dim screen (thanks to the color filter layer)
Poor battery life. Wifi + balanced refresh and screen light turned on to mid gave me around 8 hours, 14 without front light. (Trust me, you are going to have the front light turned on)
