You only need to plug in one light physically, the other switch will work without plugging in as well and can control anything else in the smart home (like another light)

It needs bulbs with a certain power consumption, otherwise it behaves strangely after switching off (the light flashes for a while and the switch restarts and doesn't react for a few seconds before collecting enough power again; I have 3x 7W on it and it's not enough)

Sometimes after a power outage it doesn't respond and needs to be disconnected for a while to restart (remove it from the frame or blow its fuses)

It is not a reliable device - I claimed one right after purchase (due to zigbee not working) and after a year I will claim another one because it stopped responding to commands (although it still communicates through zigbee and can control other devices)

Tesla probably had a slightly different FW made than the original Tuya and so without the quirks modification it doesn't work correctly. With modified quirks it works without problems.
