That it just dings at shorter intervals doesn't bother me, I have it on the table in front of me, but of course it can be solved by winding it to the end and returning it to the desired time.

no battery needed, loud ringtone
one of the minutes (two taken) rings only briefly and half a minute earlier than it should.

Edit: instructions not clear... you have to turn it all the way to 60 and then back to the desire time, then it will ring when it reaches 0....."This timer has one job—and it quietly fails at it."
Set it to 5 minutes, waited... and waited... and nothing. It hit zero like a polite ghost slipping out the back door. If you're looking for a suspenseful way to burn your dinner or forget your laundry, this is the timer for you.
ticks like it means business
simple decorative piece
perfect for practicing patience and disappointment
after clear instructions, does the 1 job
doesn't ring. not at minute 1, not at 0, not ever.
the suspense builds and then nothing
my pasta is glue
my boiling pot has a burnt bottom
