I highly recommend it as a cheap alternative to the original metal strap from Apple. Unfortunately, it is a problem to use with the wireless charger on the pad as you can't unbuckle the strap, which you have to detach on one side to charge lying down. The solution is surely a wireless charger, where the watch is airborne and the strap is loose underneath.
